Catechist

A Catechist is a person authorized to prepare persons for Baptism, Confirmation, Reception, and the Reaffirmation of Baptismal Vows, and shall function under the direction of the Member of the Clergy or other leader exercising oversight of the congregation or other community of faith. From The Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Church 4.88

This license allows one to develop lesson plans and programs for adults and children for baptism and confirmation; to counsel parents and sponsors on the responsibilities of presenting infants and young children for baptism; and to develop these programs within the context of a plan for overall Christian education and formation.
